Policy and User Agreement
By opening this site, connecting a wallet, choosing a pool, or sending a transaction, you agree to this page. If you do not agree, disconnect and leave. This text is a community operator notice. It is not legal advice and does not create a lawyer–client relationship.
1. What this project is
Chain-1404 Stake Manager is an unofficial, static, browser-side interface for community Chain 1404. It is published by an independent helper, not by BlockDAG Network Ltd or any related company, exchange, or “official” staking portal.
- No custody. The operator never receives your seed, private key, or coins through this site.
- No account. There is no signup, KYC, or hosted wallet.
- No brokerage, fund, or deposit-taking business. You talk to public contracts through your own wallet.
- Not staking.blockdag.engineering and not an issuer of BDAG.
2. What this project is not
- Not an offer, solicitation, or invitation to buy, sell, or stake any asset.
- Not investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
- Not a promise of yield, APY, liquidity, listing, or refund.
- Not a representation that BDAG, Chain 1404, or any contract is a security, e-money, or permitted product in your country.
- Live bars and “rewards” figures are contract reads and clocks. They are not a guaranteed payout.
3. Who may use it
You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. You must not use this interface if applicable law forbids you from touching the underlying network, token, or staking contract — including sanctions lists, unlicensed-securities rules, or a local ban on the asset.
The operator does not geo-fence every jurisdiction. Availability of a GitHub Page does not mean the activity is lawful for you. You are responsible for your own compliance (including MiCA, US securities rules, AML/CFT, tax reporting, and any travel-rule duty that applies to you, not to this static site).
4. On-chain risk you accept
- Community Chain 1404 may differ from other advertised copies of the chain. This UI refuses some official-looking RPC hosts on purpose.
- Smart contracts can pause, upgrade, freeze an address, or fail a call after your wallet already prompted you.
- Unstake and first-claim waits can last weeks. Adding stake while unbonding can restart a wait.
- A wrong mining-pool address can show zero rewards or send into a pool you did not intend.
- RPCs, explorers, and GitHub Pages can go down. Pending sends may need a separate tool such as KEDGE.
- If your wallet is later marked blocked or restricted on-chain, this UI cannot override that.
5. Your responsibilities
- Read every wallet confirmation. The site cannot see or stop a signature you approve.
- Verify contract addresses against community pins on the Contracts page before you accept a migration.
- Keep backups of your own seed offline. Nobody from this project will ask for it. If someone does, it is not us.
- Treat Telegram @psycho_v1 as an informal contact channel, not a regulated helpdesk and not a place to send secrets.
6. Donations
Addresses on the Donate page are personal operator wallets for voluntary gifts that help keep the UI maintained. A donation is not a share, note, stake receipt, or claim on future BDAG. Send only what you can treat as a gift. Confirm the network before you press send.
7. Data on this device
The site stores theme, RPC choice, selected pool, activity log, and error text in your browser localStorage. It does not run an operator backend that collects wallets. Public RPCs you use will see the requests your browser makes. Do not paste seeds into any field.
8. No warranty; limitation of liability
THE INTERFACE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and contributors are not liable for lost coins, lost keys, missed unlocks, fork confusion, contract upgrades, third-party RPC failure, or consequential loss. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of (a) zero, because you paid no fee to this site, or (b) the smallest amount a court requires.
You agree to defend and hold the operator harmless from claims that arise from your use, your transactions, or your violation of law — except where a court finds fraud or willful misconduct by the operator.
9. Open source and changes
This is static files you can inspect. The operator may change pins, copy, or this policy at any time by publishing new files. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new text. Effective date is shown in the path chip above.
10. Contact for this notice
Questions about the interface: @psycho_v1. That channel cannot waive this agreement or restore lost funds.
If a regulator, exchange, or counsel needs a written pack about a Chain 1404 address, that is a separate holder-prepared process and is not this staking UI.
